I am grateful for . . . .

  2. All the years still ahead of me that I can be happy and fulfilled
  3. Being brave enough to see how much time I have left, rather than how much time I have lost
  4. The changes I have made to my diet and lifestyle that ensure that I have passed the minimum of halfway through my life
  5. All the possibilities that are waiting for me.

Saturday 31st January 2015 – Mum’s money

  1. The time that she loaned me the money to travel overseas for 10 months
  2. Last year when she loaned me $900 to pay some desperate bills
  3. The $2,000 she gave me fifteen years ago to make the final payment on my car
  4. The in-between times when she sent me a few dollars to pay for an overdue bill
  5. The times when she sent me money to buy dog food for my Boys.

Thursday 29th January 2015 – the internet

  1. Living in a place that has ease of access to the internet
  2. Being able to afford to pay for the internet
  3. My internet not being restricted by my government
  4. My pretty good internet speed
  5. Knowing what to do when my internet is slow or drops out, especially when there is a big event in my town.

Wednesday 28th January 2015 – Cheryl & John

  1. Buying my house and letting me stay where I needed to be, so as to heal properly
  2. Not throwing me out when they have every right to
  3. Not pressuring me when I just can’t answer an email or the phone
  4. Being beyond patient when I can’t afford to pay the rent
  5. Wanting to give me a kitchen even though I don’t think I deserve it.
